A defining element of my work is the deliberate use of metallic paints and reflective pigments. They are not merely decorative details, but part of the composition.

 

Depending on the time of day, the way the light falls and the viewing angle, individual areas change in intensity. Surfaces begin to glow, come to the fore or visually recede.

 

This means that a work's effect is never entirely static — it responds to its surroundings. In spaces with considered architecture and design, this creates a distinctive interplay between art, interiors and light.

 

In selected works, I also use genuine gold leaf, which gives individual areas additional depth and particularly intense reflections.
