WHY JUCYY
Abstract commissioned art for unique spaces.
Precision · Material · Light · Depth
WHAT APPEARS SPONTANEOUS IS PRECISELY COMPOSED.
For me, a work of art does not begin with colour. It begins with a perception.
Emotions, scents, sounds, light, temperatures and atmospheres evoke particular colours for me. Some impressions feel cool and metallic; others warm, earthy, soft or full of contrast. Each of my works develops from this inner spectrum of colour.
At first glance, my works appear free, intuitive and abstract. In fact, each piece emerges through a precise process.
No colour or accent is placed purely by chance. Planes, lines, overlays, contrasts, textures and deliberate breaks are built up layer by layer and placed in relation to one another.
Throughout this process, I return again and again to the feeling from which the work emerged.
In this way, something invisible — a memory, a scent, a mood, a sound or the atmosphere of a particular moment — becomes a visual composition.

My works are not intended to be fully taken in at a single glance.
The longer you look, the more textures, fine details, connections between colours and distinctive passages reveal themselves.
Light changes individual areas. Metallic passages come forward or recede, and each new viewing can bring a different part of the work into focus.
The eye keeps discovering something new.
You can lose yourself in the works.
I translate emotions, scents, sounds, light and spaces into colour, material and composition. The result is abstract work in which no colour is placed by chance.
