Refund policy

Custom-made works of art

The custom work offered by Why Jucyy is planned and produced individually according to the personal specifications and wishes of the client.

Before a binding commission is awarded, the essential ideas and requirements for the artwork are agreed upon. These may include, in particular, format and size, color scheme, materials, desired effect, spatial context, framing, and the extent of artistic freedom.

The agreements reached can be recorded in an individual order or idea protocol and confirmed by the client.

 

Right of withdrawal

Insofar as a work of art is not prefabricated and is produced based on an individual selection or specification of the client or is clearly tailored to his personal needs, there is no statutory right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 312g Paragraph 2 No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

This applies in particular to individually commissioned works of art, whose size, color scheme, materials, design or other essential characteristics are determined based on the wishes of the client.

Cancellation of an order already placed

No additional voluntary right of cancellation is granted.

If the client wishes to discontinue a previously binding order, Why Jucyy may agree to a mutual cancellation of the order in individual cases. There is no entitlement to such a cancellation.

In the event of a mutually agreed termination, the services already rendered up to that point in connection with the order, as well as any costs actually incurred that are unavoidable or non-reimbursable, will be taken into account and settled.

 

This may include, in particular:

  • Consulting and concept development services

  • Planning and preparation of the individual artwork

  • Canvases and special formats already ordered or procured

  • Frames and custom-made framing

  • Colors and metallic pigments

  • Metal leaf and other special materials

  • other materials or services procured specifically for the respective order


Any remaining amount already paid after deduction of these amounts will be refunded to the client.

Mandatory legal rights of the client, in particular the statutory rights in case of defects, remain unaffected.
